One Great Circle - Album Launch!

The National Piping Centre, Glasgow
Saturday 9th March 2024, 8pm

Fraser Fifield has written a striking collection of new music to perform with his long-term friends, the acclaimed instrumental duo, Chris Stout and Catriona McKay. Part of Fraser’s output as Artist in Residence for the School of Scottish Studies, University of Edinburgh, One Great Circle is inspired by the supernatural stories of Stanley Robertson (1940-2009, storyteller, singer, member of the Travelling community of NE Scotland) which blur distinctions between real and unreal. Robertson’s recorded voice further lends atmosphere to the live performance.

Join us as they launch the album on this special night of music.
